Clarnico Quay Design and Research Showcase

The event will be an opportunity to see our latest designs for the space before we submit a planning application later in February. We hope to take you on a journey of how our research study has informed the design of the space and to let you know how to get involved in the project if our planning application is successful. We'll have teas, coffees and Greek food to keep you nourished all evening.

The design and research showcase will be held at The Old Baths (80 Eastway, London, E9 5JH) from 6.30pm - 8.00pm on 13th February.

If you are hoping to attend, please register HERE.

Drop in session @ Hub 67

Over the coming months we are arranging a number of sessions in the local area, where we are sharing the design proposals we have developed so far and asking for further feedback.

Gwenno and Rose will be at Hub 67 (67 Rothbury Rd, London E9 5HA) on Wednesday 8th of November from 5-7PM. You can drop in whenever suits you to have a chat with us about the research and design proposals, and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee on us.

During these next few months we will also be working with East Wick & Sweetwater, our architects and planning consultants to further develop the detail of our design proposal, and explore the full feasibility of the site. Our aim is to have a full set of detailed and final designs ready in January, which we will share at a further public event.

RSVP to gwenno@makeshift.org so we know how much tea and cake to bring!

Clarnico Quay: Design Workshops

Over the last three months, we have been conducting research in the local community and working on design ideas for a potential project on the site that could include workspace for small businesses, public facilities and cultural and events spaces.

Now we want to test our ideas with the local community, and get more input and inspiration to guide our final designs.

This event is an opportunity for you to meet the team working on the project, see our design concepts and share your own ideas in a series of interactive discussions.

We will use all this information to update and adapt our designs in the coming weeks. We hope you can join us.

Please RSVP via Event Brite
